A strong proponent of continuing education, Dr. Davidson frequently attends courses to stay up to date with the most technologically advanced techniques and procedures so that his patients receive the best dental care available in the fields of cosmetic, implant, and comprehensive dentistry. The lasting relationships maintained with patients treated for twenty (or in some cases even thirty) years, exemplifies his passion for helping his patients to achieve long-term personal health.
Dr. Davidson is not only a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the San Francisco Dental Society but has had the honor of serving on many committees and in official positions. Dr. Davidson had the privilege of being elected San Francisco Dental Society President by his peers in 1989. In October, 2007 he was elected as a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Dentistry. He has served as President of 25,000 member California Dental Association from late 2011 through 2012.
Dr. Daniel G. Davidson has a degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University and is a graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, he spent two years as a dental officer in the U.S. Navy with a rotation in advanced surgical training.
Dr. Davidson lives in Marin County with his wife Leslie. They are proud parents of their son, Eli, a recent graduate of the University of California Berkeley. Dr. Davidson values his own health in addition to that of his patients, staying active through skiing in the Sierras, hiking on Mt. Tamalpais, and running the hills of the Marin Headlands.
