Lorene is a graduate of City College with an Associate Science
Degree in Dental Laboratory Technology. She has had an opportunity to
work in Dental Laboratories and has had experience in fabricating
crowns, bridges and dentures. She then went on to graduate from
National Education Center for Dental Assisting and received her
Registered Dental Assistant licensing. Lorene feels very fortunate to
have worked for Dr. Davidson as a chairside assistant for many years.
With that knowledge, she has gained a better understanding in
coordinating patient treatment to best meet their needs and concerns.
She looks forward to assisting you in scheduling your dental care.
Dora graduated from a dental assisting program in 1994 and received her Registered Dental Assistant license one year later. She feels very fortunate to have worked for Dr. Davidson for almost nine years. Dora is very dedicated and a hard working assistant. She takes pleasure in helping people and seeing them become healthy. Dora adds warmth and charm to our office and we feel very lucky to have her.
Laura started in dentistry as a Registered Dental Assistant. She
has worked in a general, a periodontic and a pediatric office, gaining
experience with a wide range of patients. She then attended the
University of Southern California Dental School graduating in 1998 with
a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Working only for Dr.
Davidson's office, she is very committed to her patients.
Virginia earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of California at San Francisco. She is very attentive and provides thorough care for her patients. As part of Dr. Davidson’s staff, she demonstrates sensitivity to the specific needs of each patient’s oral health. Besides her knowledge and experience in dental hygiene, she also has a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from the University of California at Davis.
Renee graduated form Ohio State University where she received
degrees in Education and Dental Hygiene and earned a MS in Health
Sciences at San Francisco State University. She was an Associate
Clinical Professor for twenty years at University of California San
Francisco School of Dentistry and (concurrently) at Foothill College
Dental Hygiene Program where she taught several courses including
beginning and advanced clinics, local anesthesia, periodontology,
dental health education and ethics and jurisprudence. In recognition
of her talents as a teacher and mentor, her students presented her with
numerous Excellence in Teaching Awards. She also has served as a
faculty member for the Summer Institute program on "Communication
Technology and Information Management" sponsored by the National Center
for Dental Hygiene Research and a consultant for the DHNet, an
electronic communications system and dental hygiene knowledge base.
Additionally, Renee practiced in a public health clinic in Boston and
was co-owner and VP of Marketing of Apogee, a continuing education
company for dental professionals. She has published and presented in
many areas both nationally and internationally and authored a chapter
on local anesthesia in Dental Hygiene Theory and Practice. She
continues to teach courses for graduate dental hygienists and
educators. Throughout her career she has worked in both general and
periodontal practices where she enjoys becoming acquainted with
patients and providing dental hygiene care. Renee lives on the
peninsula with her husband, Dave, two children, Ashley and Andrew, and
two long haired miniature dachshunds. She enjoys hiking, biking,
reading and volunteering at her children's schools.
Marilou earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan. She served as the Honor Council Representative upholding the honor code system as well as a Clinic Student Teacher and a Tutor Assisting Fellow of dental hygiene students. In addition, she participated in various internship programs as a student dental hygienist in Michigan and North Dakota. Throughout her curriculum in Michigan, her academic achievement was recognized with a number of honors such as the University Honors, a James B. Angell Scholar, a National Society of Collegiate Scholar , and the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society, Nu Chapter. Her dental work experiences include General Practice and Pediatric Dentistry. She assists Dr. Davidson's staff on Saturdays and works a full-time position on the Peninsula. Besides being fluent in English and Tagalog, Marilou is currently taking Spanish classes at the College of San Mateo. As part of her future endeavors, she aspires to speak intermediate Spanish , perform community service, and pursue clincal teaching in dental hygiene. As time allows, Marilou enjoys yoga, cardio/weight exercises, and kickboxing class. |
